First Responders

Society expects you to survive on a treadmill of trauma--enduring, functioning, and serving for decades without being changed by what you’ve experienced. I know that isn’t realistic. What is possible is healing.

My work is grounded in lived experience of childhood trauma and deep respect for those who serve. First responders were there for me when I needed help most; now it’s my turn to give back.

I have worked as a civilian in law enforcement in the Bay Area since 2001. Over the years, I have been trained by leading clinicians in trauma treatment and I remain deeply committed to supporting first responders and those working within emergency services culture.

You may have tried therapy before and felt misunderstood or unable to fully share what you’ve seen. I can offer both the language and cultural competence of this world, creating a space where you can feel safe, respected, and truly understood.
